And so it was, Saturday night turned into Sunday morning, and a lovely 9 days with Carolyn and Kevika drew to an end. But we took it to Germany and the Czech Republic, much as I imagine the hero of this movie took it to Hitler.
More seriously though, it was a fantastic time with fantastic people. All that's left to be said is that which is best said in German:
"Alles hat ein ende nur die wurst hat zwei."
(For those, like me, that don't speak much German, that is: Everything has an end, except for the sausage, which has two.)
Kudos to Carolyn for the quote, which is also apparently a hit single by Stephen Remmler.
